Dr Meena Urkude is a dedicated General Practitioner with a broad range of clinical experience and a strong commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centred care.

Before transitioning to General Practice, Dr Urkude spent three years working across Townsville University Hospital and Mackay Base Hospital, gaining valuable experience in a diverse range of specialties including Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Endocrinology, Cardiology, Psychiatry, Paediatrics and Gastroenterology.

This varied hospital experience has provided Dr Urkude with a well-rounded approach to patient care and a strong foundation in managing a wide range of health concerns. She is passionate about getting to know her patients, understanding their individual needs and supporting them to achieve the best possible health outcomes.
