Dr Maria Farrukh is a caring and highly skilled General Practitioner who is committed to providing thorough, evidence-based care with a strong focus on long-term patient wellbeing. Dr Farrukh provides comprehensive care for patients of all ages and has a special interest in Women's Health, Children's Health, Chronic Disease Management, Mental Health and Mental Health

She has also developed particular expertise in Skin Cancer Management, Surgery and other skin procedures. Dr Farrukh has completed both Professional and Advanced Certificates in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery. She performs comprehensive skin cancer checks, biopsies, surgical excisions, and the diagnosis and management of both benign and malignant skin lesions, as well as a range of other skin procedures.

Dr Farrukh graduated from Punjab Medical College, University of Health Sciences, Pakistan, in 2005. Before entering General Practice, she gained hospital experience im Pakistan, and later at TheTownsville Hospital, working across a range of specialties including General Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Medical Oncology, and Geriatrics. She became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2023.
