Dr Jamila Balchand is an experienced General Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centred healthcare for individuals and families. She is committed to delivering evidence-based care tailored to each patient's needs, with a strong focus on preventative health, chronic disease management and building long-term relationships that support lifelong wellbeing.

After graduating from Davao Medical School Foundation in the Philippines in 2004, Dr Balchand gained more than 10 years of medical experience before relocating to Australia in 2014. As a dedicated Family GP, she enjoys caring for patients of all ages and has developed a broad range of clinical skills across general practice. Her special interests include women's health, children's health, antenatal care, mental health, sexual health, Indigenous health, travel medicine, health assessments, immunisations, preventative healthcare and the ongoing management of chronic medical conditions.

Dr Balchand is known for her warm, approachable manner and takes the time to listen carefully to her patients, ensuring they feel comfortable, informed and supported throughout their healthcare journey.
