Dr Ambreen Samir is an experienced General Practitioner who is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centred care for individuals and families. She enjoys supporting patients through every stage of life and believes in building long-term relationships based on trust, communication and evidence-based care. Her approach places a strong emphasis on preventative health, chronic disease management and promoting lifelong wellbeing.

After graduating from medical school in Pakistan in 2000, Dr Samir worked as a General Practitioner for more than 10 years before relocating to Australia in 2015. Since joining Riverway Medical Centre, she has continued to provide comprehensive healthcare to the local community as a dedicated Family GP. She has broad experience across all aspects of general practice, with particular interests in women's health, children's health, Indigenous health, health assessments, immunisations, preventative healthcare and the ongoing management of chronic medical conditions.

Dr Samir values working collaboratively with her patients, taking the time to understand their individual health needs and supporting informed healthcare decisions. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her young family, reading medical research, interior decorating, cooking and baking.
