Dr Kiran Kaushal is an experienced General Practitioner who has been providing compassionate, patient-centred care to the Townsville community for many years. She is committed to supporting patients through every stage of life by delivering personalised, evidence-based healthcare with a strong focus on preventative health, continuity of care and chronic disease management.

After graduating in 1983, Dr Kaushal practised in India with a specialisation in Obstetrics and Gynaecology before relocating to Australia with her family in 2001. She spent five years working as a Family GP in Tully before moving to Townsville in 2006, where she has continued to care for individuals and families for over a decade. Her clinical interests include women's health, children's health, antenatal care, Indigenous health, travel medicine, health assessments, immunisations, preventative medicine and the management of chronic illness.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr Kaushal is actively involved in teaching and mentoring medical students and GP Registrars, supporting the next generation of healthcare professionals. She is fluent in both English and Hindi, enabling her to communicate effectively with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
